How far in advance should we book?

The deep Ardennes are a long way from our bases: book a few days ahead where possible, certainly at weekends and during holiday periods. Online, on WhatsApp or by phone, and we confirm vehicle and chauffeur.

Does the chauffeur wait during the walks?

On a disposition he waits at the agreed point while you walk or visit the castle, and stays reachable by phone. On a transfer a short waiting period is included; anything longer is confirmed in advance.

Bouillon without doing the driving

Bouillon sits in a loop of the Semois, with the castle of Godfrey of Bouillon on the rock above. The road there is spectacular but demanding: narrow valley roads, hairpin bends and, in winter, fog or black ice on the heights. Exactly the kind of drive you'd rather leave to a chauffeur.

From Brussels it's about two hours via the E411 and then the N89 towards Libramont; from Luxembourg City a little over an hour; from Antwerp a good two and a half. We plan a break along the way if you'd like one and leave early enough to catch the light in the valley.

The region deserves more than a single stop.
